Whitecroft Lighting is supporting Bee in the City, a spectacular public art event taking place in Manchester bringing together the business and creative sectors to celebrate Manchester’s heritage. Together with Cundall we produced a collaborative Bee design entitled ‘The Beeholder'.

At the end of the trail, the Bees were auctioned off to raise significant funds for The Lord Mayor of Manchester’s We Love MCR Charity to improve the lives of Manchester residents and help them reach their full potential. The Beeholder raised £13,000 and was won by an anonymous Internet bidder.

We celebrate a hat-trick of award wins

It's been a very successful year at Whitecroft Lighting as we celebrated the winning of three presigious, industry awards:

We align our business model towards the circular economy

Whitecroft Lighting experiences rapid growth in interest related to their circular economy approach with the launch of one of world’s first recessed luminaires Cradle to Cradle Certified™ at the Bronze level and Whitecroft Vitality, our new circular economy platform.

Whitecroft Vitality is a new circular approach that gives Whitecroft Lighting the ability to keep products at their highest utility through life and then refurbish, re-purpose, re-distribute, re-sell and in the end recover luminaires.

At Whitecroft, we have developed the Whitecroft Lighting Academy, a structured learning programme that will allow us to develop our future leaders, and ensure all of our staff have access to the best professional development opportunities available in our industry.
