Overview

A compact luminaire based sensor and control module that utilises a passive infra-red detector (PIR), a photocell and an infra-red receiver for use with the infra-red handset

  • Regulating photocell ensures minimum maintained light level taking into account the contribution from adjacent luminaires and daylight
  • Presence detection
  • Programmable using separate programming handset; see COM8HP
  • Maximum mounting height 15 metres
  • Typical applications include low and high bay installations
  • On site commissioning is required, speak with Whitecroft Controls desk
  • Wireless contol module integral to the luminaire
  • Plug and play system
  • No requirement for 2 core Dali cables
  • Communicates wirelessly with luminaires up to 10m distance
  • Local luminaire zones can be created with common functions
  • Multiple zones can be linked as a single 'mesh' network

Movement sensor

The detection area for the movement sensor can be roughly divided into three parts:

  • Minor movement (person moving <0.9m/s) Ø 3.0m at 10m height
  • Major movement (person moving >0.9m/s) Ø 14.0m at 13m height
  • Extra large movement (forklift) Ø 16.0m at 15m height

At Whitecroft, our BIM engineers are not only adept at using Autodesk Revit; they are also fully trained lighting designers. We believe this is essential. When you use our teams on your project, you can rest assured the whole lighting solution is being designed, assessed and managed by people who know the technology inside out and have a full understanding of your requirements.

- We can populate your BIM model with a full lighting design.

- All our BIM families are created in-house, so if bespoke models are required, we can deliver them.

- We use Relux to create design validation data that confirms your project’s compliance and supports your BIM model.

- Once the model is complete, we work with you to interrogate every element including quantity schedules, costs, energy validation, COBie data and delivery schedules.
