Working with the installing contractor and consulting engineer the primary project objective of Mercedes Benz of Stockport was to deliver a building wide lighting and controls solution which would be fitting for the new state-of-the-art facility.

Our dedicated team provided extensive lighting and controls design for the building selecting the best solutions for each space, supporting these selections with Relux lighting calculations and detailed AutoCAD drawings. This coupled with project support and management throughout the entire process ensured the project met the specification and the hand over was completed on schedule.

Comprising a retail showroom, breakout space, multi-storey carpark and workshop a variety of DALI controlled products were used to deliver the desired results.

The Mirage downlighter was the ideal solution for the open plan showroom and breakout space. High output 4000K luminaires were used in the showroom area to accentuate the cars on display, while lower output 3000K luminaires were installed in the breakout area to create a warm and inviting environment.

Our linear Avenue Metro and Starline Flex luminaires were used to highlight a number of architectural ceiling features. The workshop areas were lit with the Intral lighting trunking system while the multi storey car park was lit using our anti-corrosive, IP66 ACL Industry.
