In 2016 Whitecroft teamed up with Essex Services Group PLC to help deliver a brand new contemporary collaboration and quality assessment centre at Tesco’s Shire Park campus. Comprising relaxed work spaces, labs, lecture/training rooms and a gym, the key focus for Whitecroft was to provide a full project solution using lighting that would be functional, efficient and appealing.

To achieve this a mix of products were needed to meet the requirements of the different areas from IP65 luminaires in the kitchen and tasting areas to our decorative Oculus pendant in the atrium and café spaces.

Used throughout the main atrium and event space and café areas our Oculus feature pendant creates a powerful statement and with its stunning profile and micro polymer diffuser is a great solution whether the area is used for large scale presentations or simply as a breakout area for employees. To provide a complete project solution Whitecroft also developed a bespoke Oculus featuring 100% downlight and 6m suspension kits, designed in-house by our Product Design team. 

To further enhance this contemporary building Whitecroft supplied Avenue Metro recessed and suspended for training rooms, Mirage Surface for corridors, IP65 Lister2 for the kitchens and tasting rooms and IP65 ACL Industry for the food and general stores.
