Tony Male appointed as Head of Critical Infrastructure

We are pleased to announce that Tony Male, a longstanding member of the Whitecroft team with 30 years of lighting experience, has been appointed as our first Head of Critical Infrastructure.

This newly created role extends our Major Projects team, focusing on essential sectors that governments rely on to keep society and the economy running. These include life sciences, nuclear power, data centres, and defence.

Tony was a natural choice for this position, given his impressive track record in major projects, including securing Custom Made lighting solutions for Hinkley Point C power station – the first LED lighting specified for the UK atomic energy industry.

With this role, we are reinforcing our commitment to industries we have actively supported for over 15 years. Our customer-centric approach, agile processes, technical expertise, and UK manufacturing capabilities ensure we can meet the most complex project requirements. From our extensive product portfolio to our industry-leading Custom Made service, Whitecroft is positioned to deliver innovative, high-performance lighting solutions tailored to critical infrastructure needs.
