Whitecroft Lighting Ltd has been given one of the UK’s most prestigious awards for energy and sustainability.

We were presented with the Make UK national Energy & Sustainability award at a ceremony held virtually having beaten off winners of regional awards from across the UK.

The award was given for Whitecroft Vitality, our new circular economy platform. Whitecroft Vitality is a circular approach that gives Whitecroft Lighting the ability to keep products at their highest utility through life and then refurbish, re-purpose, re-distribute, re-sell and in the end recover luminaires.

Matt Paskin, Marketing & Product Director at Whitecroft Lighting, said:

“I am incredibly proud of the individuals and teams across Whitecroft who made this happen. We set out to deliver an authentic, circular lighting proposition that was accessible to all and stayed true to our values of being transparent and, most importantly, responsible for the products we commit to the UK built environment. The resulting change in our culture and business model has been inspiring to see, and I’m very excited to see where our people and customers take this next”.

June Smith, Region Director for Make UK in the North, said:

These awards are a testament to the dynamic companies and individuals working within engineering and manufacturing in the North West. The sector has been at the heart of delivering during the crisis and as we re-build our economy there will be a bright future for companies and individuals that make the most of their talent.”
