It’s that time of year again! Our annual Summer Fair took place on Saturday 27th July. This year we were fundraising for Reuben’s Retreat, a home from home for children with a life threatening or life limiting illness or parents and siblings who have lost a child.
The poor weather didn’t stop the fun with great numbers turning out to tackle the climbing wall or take a spin on the carousel (and that was just the grown-ups!). Among the attractions there was also a miniature farm, a fun house, a children’s entertainer and face painting. The icing on the cake was the raffle with prizes including a Daytona race session and Manchester United tickets.
Sincere thanks to all those involved in organising the event! The fundraising total so far is £3500 and we will continue fundraising throughout the year with more great raffle prizes and events to follow.
